to what follows. If you do not agree, please do not use the material.
Questions: Parenting Solved
1. What we actually provide
We publish videos and written guides for parents and caregivers whose children are
missing school, often because of anxiety. The material covers attendance law, truancy
procedure, 504 plans, IEPs, and school communication.
Everything is general educational information. That is the whole of what we offer.
2. This is not legal, medical, or psychological advice
Read this section carefully. It is the most important one here.
We are not lawyers, doctors, therapists, or school officials, and nothing we publish is
advice about your situation.
- Attendance and truancy law is state law, and it differs sharply between states. A
rule, a penalty, a deadline, or a procedure that is accurate in one state can be wrong
in the next one. Our material frequently names a specific state precisely because the
answer changes at the state line.
- We do not know your case. We have not seen your letters, your child's records, or
your district's policies.
- Using our material does not create any professional relationship between you and
us. It is not attorney-client privileged and it is not confidential.
If you have received a truancy citation, a court summons, a SARB or attendance hearing
notice, or any contact from child welfare, speak to a licensed attorney or a free legal
aid service in your state. For your child's health, speak to a qualified clinician. Do
not substitute a video for either.
We take care to source what we publish, and we can still be wrong, out of date, or
inapplicable to you. Verify anything you intend to act on.
3. Templates and letters
Some guides contain template letters and checklists. They are starting points, not
finished legal documents. You are responsible for reading, editing, and checking anything
you send, and for whatever follows from sending it.
4. The free guides
The guides are free. To reach one you answer a few short questions, and the email field
is optional: you get the download whether or not you fill it in.
You may download the guides and use them for your own family's situation. You may not
resell them, republish them, present them as your own, or distribute them commercially.
5. AI-generated media
The narration and visuals in our videos are AI-generated. The underlying material is
drawn from published guidance, statutes, and case law. We disclose this on the videos
themselves and we state it here as well.
6. Comments
Comments live on YouTube and are governed by YouTube's own terms and community
guidelines. On our channel, please:
- do not post your child's name, your school's name, or medical details. Comments are
public and permanent in ways that are hard to undo,
- do not post abuse, spam, or promotional links,
- do not present yourself as a lawyer or clinician giving advice to other viewers.
We may remove comments or block accounts at our discretion. Pinned comments on our videos
are posted by us.
7. Intellectual property
The videos, scripts, guides, and artwork are ours, except for material quoted from public
sources, which belongs to its owners and is used for education and commentary. Our name
and logo are ours. Please do not reupload our videos or redistribute the guides as your
own work.
8. Third-party links
We link to Google Forms, government and legal sources, and other sites. We do not control
them and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising
from your use of our material. That includes decisions you make about school attendance,
about legal proceedings, or about your child's care.
You remain responsible for your own decisions. Nothing in these terms limits liability
that cannot be limited by law.
10. Availability
We may change, pause, or withdraw any video, guide, or page at any time, without notice.
11. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms we will update the "Last updated" date above.
